"Sometimes problems don't require a solution to solve them; instead, they require maturity to outgrow them."
-Steve Maraboli
There
will be those very few times that her heart is at its weakest and her mind
wanders immeasurably far. Today, she
admits how tired she is of all these… tired of seeing nobody who would understand,
tired of failing, tired of hurting. Then she would curse her life, think immaturely
miserable, burst her emotions, and hate herself. However, she knows how that can’t last long. At
the back of her mind is the never dying principle she made a long, long time
ago˗˗ Do not give up. She
knows exactly that the pain might stay long; but she can’t let that pain
control her.
Once in a while, just let the pain. There are
times that I just choose to be totally vulnerable, let my weakness take over
and decide to put my guards down for a moment. This does not mean surrendering
or being bitter; it’s just that it’s the best way I know to be able to continue
and fight again. There has to be those times wherein I need to let the wounds
bleed then cure them. I believe it’s necessary that we let ourselves feel the
pain, realize and reflect before letting the pain go; having a better self just
follows if you would just allow.
We all
need such moment of reflecting, a moment on your own. When you’re on for
happiness, you have to expect pain as well. It isn’t wrong to be weak for a
while; it’s just proof that the painful reality hasn’t made your heart a stone
yet. Be happy… really, really happy, and you can only do that if you’ve
understood, accepted and let go of the pain.
